Nobody can stop Bayern Munich
An extraordinary season comes to an end. Bayern Munich also could not be stopped by Wolfsburg on the final day. In the end, Hansi Flick's team won 4-0 against the Lower Saxony hosts. Bayern Munich scored 100 goals in the 2019/2020 season. The current record in the Bundesliga is 101 goals, also set by the legendary FC Bayern Munich of Gerd Mueller and Franz Beckenbauer in 1972.

The champions' run in the second half of the season was spectacular - in 17 matches, the club won 16 games and drew only once. After 34 rounds, the team from Saebener Strasse secured a total of 82 points, finishing 13 points ahead of runners-up Borussia Dortmund.

This was their 30th championship in their history and the eighth title in a row. The German Bundesliga title was clinched two rounds before the end of the season at the Weser Stadium in Bremen. This was the first time in Bundesliga history that the title was decided in Bremen.

Hansi Flick took over from Niko Kovac after 10 rounds - under his leadership, the Bavarians won 21 out of 24 Bundesliga games and, on matchday 20, they regained the top of the table and secured the Bundesliga championship. As a coach, Flick had a win rate of 88% - the highest in Bundesliga history - followed by Pep Guardiola with 80%.

An important part of his success is also due to the international striker Lewandowski - the Polish star scored an incredible 34 goals throughout the season, setting a new record - the highest number of goals ever scored by a foreign player.
